Welcome to 2008 Global Korea Textile Week

The third annual 'Global Korea Textile Week' is an event that promotes Korea's textile industry which has risen in the past 30 years to a position of worldwide fashion leadership.

Korea's textile industry has moved beyond it's national origins and now reaches far into international markets including the United States, China, Southeast Asia and South America. Korea's textile industry is expanding it's global networks, increasing it's influence in the global fashion market.

Los Angeles has emerged as a trendsetting leader of fashion worldwide. The Los Angeles Fashion District which includes the Jobber Market is well known as a landmark of fashion. The annual 'LA International Textile Show', which takes place in the fall, has become one of the largest fashion events on the west coast and showcases current and future trends in fashion textiles.

'Global Korea Textile Week' occurs during the 'LA International Textile Show' and promises to be one of it's most exciting events. Over 80 fabric and apparel companies will attend to showcase the global leadership of the Korean textile industry through various events including fashion shows, business forums and an accompanying networking reception.
